Potato Cheese Balls is a perfect starter recipe! Crisp on the outside whereas molten cheese on the inside. These cheese balls are not only loved by the kids but also by adults who are craving for fried street food during this monsoon.

Cheese Balls are generally made up of corn or potato. I usually like the taste of potato that goes with cheese and use corn generally with pizzas. Spiced potato with gooey molten cheese on the inside, which flows as soon as we open these balls is the basic definition of these cheese balls.

Cheese Balls can be deep fried, baked in oven and also pan fried. However, i have made them by deep frying method. If you want to try using any other method, you can do so by clicking below-

Cheese Balls Ingredients

Ingredients

  • Mashed Potatoes (3 medium)

  • 100 gms processed cheese (cut into small cubes)

  • 100 gms cornflour

  • 100 gm breadcrumbs

  • 2-3 chillies

  • 1/2 ginger

  • 2-3 pods garlic

  • 1 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder

  • 1/2 tbsp turmeric

  • 1/2 tbsp coriander powder

  • 1/2 tbsp garam masala

  • 1 tsp pepper

  • 1/2 tsp hing (asafoetida)

Ingredients

  • Mashed Potatoes (3 medium)

  • 100 gms processed cheese (cut into small cubes)

  • 100 gms cornflour

  • 100 gm breadcrumbs

  • 2-3 chillies

  • 1/2 ginger

  • 2-3 pods garlic

  • 1 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder

  • 1/2 tbsp turmeric

  • 1/2 tbsp coriander powder

  • 1/2 tbsp garam masala

  • 1/2 tsp hing (asafoetida)

  • 1 tsp pepper

Directions

  • Grind chillies, garlic and ginger into a paste. Combine this paste, masala’s, cornflour and bread crumb in mashed potatoes. Forma nice dough like texture.
  • Take 30 gms cornflour, add some water and prepare a paste. Divide the mashed potatoes dough into several parts and flatten the dough.
  • Stuff cheese cubes inside and roll it into small balls.cheese balls preparation
  • Dip these balls in cornflour paste and then roll it into bed of breadcrumbs. Fry into golden brown. Serve it with Tomato Ketchup.
